According to Japanese writer, Nikkei, Apple is moving to a 3-year design cycle instead of it’s usual 2-year cycle that we’ve come to expect. This has been attributed to a few factors, but notably the 10 year anniversary in 2017. According to experts, Apple is holding off to its next major design change for this 10 year anniversary event.
Nikkei believes that the new version slated for this autumn will look almost identical to the current iPhone 6. Perhaps we’ll be seeing more esthetic changes like color options as well as improved cameras. We can have an idea of what that might look like, thanks to some great 3D concept designs by Martin Hajek from the Netherlands.
